Self-Compassion for Adults with ADHD:

Nurturing Kindness to Yourself in a Distracted World

Join Licensed Clinical Social Worker and ADHD Coach Bethany McLaughlin for an insightful and empowering program on self-compassion for adults living with ADHD. Research shows that adults with ADHD score significantly lower on measures of self-compassion compared to those without ADHD. The need for adult-focused ADHD support has become increasingly evident, especially in light of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the lived experience of ADHD. Research is showing that diagnoses of ADHD in adults increased significantly during the pandemic. This event will explore strategies tailored for adults to cultivate self-compassion while managing ADHD symptoms, introduce exercises to enhance both self-compassion and executive functioning skills, and provide a forum for questions and shared experiences. Whether you're an adult personally affected by ADHD or supporting an adult loved one with ADHD, this program will offer valuable tools for fostering a kinder, more understanding relationship with yourself and others in our current, often challenging times.
